![]() ![]() While this combination of abilities is somewhat similar to those of Korea's in Civ VI, there is always room for more scientists. ![]() ![]() It would be interesting to see Civ VI's take on a leader that specializes in defensive tactics like Georgia but also likes to focus on science. Some real-world historical accounts of the walls of Babylon had them at near 100 feet high and 80 feet thick - perfect for keeping out the barbarians. Back in Civilization V, Nebuchadnezzar's Babylon had special archers and walls that allowed them to play defensively while earning powerful bonuses towards Great Scientists. There is one notable exception, however: Babylon. Options for adopting a science-based civ from previous games are slim, as most of those have already been reinterpreted for Civ VI. That said, Seondeok's Korea is easily the best choice for players aiming for a Science Victory. Sumeria, Russia and Arabia all have strong potential, but it would be refreshing to see at least one more civilization that loves to build those research labs. Science-per-turn is the lifeblood of the game, so factions that specialize in science are tricky to balance. No matter what victory style players shoot for in Civilization VI, having a robust science score is critical for development and keeping up with rivals. ![]()
